To Whom It May Concern:
I am a member of Hela Bima Board of directors and have worked with Sandy Rowley during her time with our nonprofit.
Sandy has been a real asset to our mission. Her passion, practical expertise and commitment to follow through has helped our organization focus on creating a stable foundation to further our mission and help grow organic farming practices around the world.
Her talents in social media and web design, have grown our Facebook page to hundreds of thousands of views, increasing our reach from 20 a month, to over 500,000 in one month. Our website traffic has tripled. Her efforts helped our non-profit gain advertising grants with Google and gained free publicity from local magazines.
She has shown wisdom in very challenging situations and determination to do the right thing in all circumstances. I would highly recommend her for this position.
Please call or email.

Galena Visitor Center/Great Basin Institute

Letter of recommendation for Sandy Rowley
July 10, 2015

Sandy has been a volunteer with the Galena Creek Visitor Center and Great Basin Institute for approximately a year.  She enabled a partnership with the Bee Habitat organization and the Reno Sparks Association of Realtors which brought to realization a pollinator garden, large insect hotel, and field study curriculum geared to K-12 Washoe County students.

Sandy has proven to be a dedicated connecting-community-with-nature community member.  She prepared exhibits, helped greatly with publicity and social media, and organized volunteer days.

Sandy works well in a team, brings together partners in collaborative efforts,  and is a real pleasure to work with.

Sandy’s work and volunteering at the visitor center has been greatly valued in the visitor center itself and in the many school field studies and school break camps coordinated through the visitor center.

Please feel free to call or e-mail me for further information.

Sincerely,

Gwen Bourne

Re: Sandy Rowley

To Whom it May Concern,

We would like to recommend Sandy Rowley and the Bee Habitat Program we recently
heard at our club in Carson City. She had an AV component as well as a verbal presentation. Her topic regarding bees and pollination has been a subject of current events. It was a unique program that engaged our membership and produced numerous questions from our group.

Sincerely,
John P. Copoulos,
Carson City Rotary Program Chair
